Me too. I want tickets. And apparently The xx are playing tonight. Also want.
Cale Parks was on repeat for a while. His was the first album whose purchase directly resulted from “social media”. I read a recommendation in Google Reader from someone’s tumblr account, visited LaLa to preview the album and made the purchase in iTunes.
Very nice, although I don’t understand why you’re still buying music at iTunes. Why not Amazon, where there’s no DRM?
iTunes has been DRM free since April, but Lala is actually my favorite place to buy music now. $0.10 for web copies with the option to pay the difference later on down the road for MP3s, along with the ability to load your own library into your account and stream it anywhere is pretty hard to beat.
